Description:
In the training cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with a defibrillator and L-ABC, the participant gets the knowledge needed for life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation and how to use a defibrillator in the event of a cardiac arrest. The training is both theoretical with text and film based with moments where the participants learn how to act in the event of a cardiac arrest, L - life-threatening situation, A - breathing, B - bleeding, C - shock or circulatory failure, how to use a defibrillator and how to act in a airway obstruction. Participants receive a thorough overview of how a defibrillator works.

Target group:
The training is aimed at everyone. Having knowledge of CPR and L-ABC is crucial to being able to help a person in a life-threatening condition as safely as possible.

This training fulfills the legal requirements required to obtain basic knowledge in CPR and L-ABC.
Validity:
After the course, you receive a training certificate that is valid for five years.
All knowledge is fresh and needs to be repeated regularly. The Swedish CPR Council recommends that everyone attends refresher training, an extension course or further training at least every two years.
Legislation:
According to the Swedish Work Environment Agency's regulation AFS 1999:7 and AFS 2001:1, there must be preparedness and resources at the workplace to deal with rapid illness, acute injuries and accidents.
Managers and supervisory staff must have sufficient knowledge, but must also ensure that employees know how first aid and crisis support is organized and which routines apply.
